A passion for the Perioperative environment led Jason to launch mfPHD seven years ago. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Communications, and a successful college football career as an offensive tackle, Jason began his career in medical sales.
Due to his ability to connect with clinical staff from all disciplines and through the surgical boom revolution, Jason was recognized for his work with surgeons in designing surgical suite layouts across the country.
His accomplished efforts at Belimed, Berchtold, and Trumpf steered Jason to the realization that he could create a vivid impact in OR’s via the delivery of modular stainless steel construction.
A passion for advancing customized, beneficial and flexible spaces led Jason, together with Tom Crenshaw, to bring the FORTRESS TM wall system to life.
When he is not working to create an optimized hospital environment, you can find Jason and his family on the river or working with his more famous wife at the best barbeque restaurant in Waco, Vitek’s Market!
BLENDING high-tech WITH HIGH-TOUCH
What began as a part-time job pouring concrete for his father at age 14 has become a passion for improving the quality of critical healthcare spaces for Tom.
Now with 25 years of construction experience, Tom has seen hundreds of ORs over the past five years alone, and has dedicated his career to healthcare. He realizes that the product he provides and installs has a positive impact on the delivery of care.
His hands-on project leadership and knowledge of field construction has been integral to the success of many projects with challenging schedules and budgets. Tom’s dedication, attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction is recognized by mfPHD’s clients.
Tom relaxes on the golf course or fishing on Lake Waco and the Brazos River. He is most known for his distinctive Texas drawl; Jason often translates if you don't speak Texas.
KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT HEALTHCARE AND COACHELLA
An agent of change, John has been at the forefront of many healthcare innovations throughout his career.
Having specialized in surgical table training and sales, John enjoyed a successful career with Berchtold, Maquet and TRUMPF.
Introduced to modular wall systems in European hospitals, John immediately recognized the need for this innovative solution in the US.
Since joining mfPHD in 2013, John has enjoyed challenging and changing the physical environment of healthcare. He is dedicated to a collaborative process, where users, designers, contractors and the mfPHD team incorporate modular stainless steel to the highest standards of quality.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, when he is not promoting the mfPHD system, John loves to travel the country attending live music festivals.
SHAPING THE WORLD FROM HEALTHCARE TO NATURE
Trevor brings an owner’s perspective to every client and project, having spent much of his career as a space analyst and project manager at Massachusetts General Hospital, Trevor understands the pressures on facilities staff to make the most efficient use of space and develop and manage strict capital budgets.
Many of his projects were state-of–the-art spaces, from BSL2 and BSL3 labs to MRI upgrades and OR renovations to a sterile and robotics compounding pharmacy.
He recognized the benefits of the mfPHD system in the pharmacy projects, and has been instrumental in introducing clients to these benefits from his perspective as a hospital client.
Trevor balances his time with the innovative mfPHD system with his love of the outdoors, golfing, and gardening.
mfPHD ROCK STAR
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Cory pursued a career in geology before realizing that he found developing relationships with people far more interesting than developing relationships with rocks.
A career change led him to marketing for Image Stream Medical. Focusing on video integration in the OR environment, Cory realized a passion for collaborating with users, administrators, facilities staff, and design and construction teams in promoting innovation in healthcare delivery.
Since mfPHD's wall system is the future of healthcare, mfPHD is the perfect fit for Cory.
When he is not collaborating with clients and project teams, Cory coaches football, soccer, baseball, and basketball for his sons' teams.
From a family of ranchers, Cory also enjoys the chance to unwind by fishing at his family's ranch in Oklahoma.
BRINGING AN ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT TO HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS
Chance began his career as a banker but quickly realized that he enjoyed selling the bank’s products as much as developing business relationships.
His healthcare career began with selling specialty surgical instrumentation and devices. This move led him to a partnership in a Medical Imaging distributorship, eventually owning and managing his own medical sales company.
He has promoted products and solutions within many healthcare sub-specialties including Medical Device, Imaging, Capital Equipment and Innovative & Integrated Solutions.
Chance is excited to join the mfPHD team where he will focus on developing business relationships with national health systems that will benefit from mfPHD's systems.
A graduate of Auburn University, Chance is the reigning mfPHD ping pong champion, and also likes to play golf and tennis. He loves to cook, and will gladly challenge Jason for the best rib recipe.
When the team is together, he has been known to provide comic relief with his singing and partaking of a frosty and fries.
west coast representin'
A born and raised "California kid", Bill Summers grew up in a small farm town in Northern CA. He attended college at California Polytechnic State University, most commonly known as (the real) Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, most commonly known as SLO. During is business and engineering studies he was encouraged by professors to get into some form of sales, because the book studies were okay, but his personality seemed to be more adept for what was going on after study group than during it.
Bill has been selling capital equipment solutions, in some form or another, into healthcare since 2008. After watching Jason Keith's feed on LinkedIn for months and wondering why he's not seeing this solution in the OR's he walks into daily, he approached mfPHD about a potential partnership for CA and NV. Since then, it's been full steam ahead spreading the mfPHD gospel on the west coast.
In his free time, Bill spends it with his wife and 2 small children and young border-doodle (border collie/poodle) dog, Rosie. He's passionate about exercising, exploring, personal growth/finance, Hawaii, real estate, and hanging out with his family. In 2020, he plans to visit Europe together for the first time with his wife for their shared 40th birthdays as well as run his first marathon.
A CLEAR VISION FOR DESIGN
Maria joins the mdPHD team as a Design Engineer. A CAD designer, she will be working closely with Tom and our clients’ architecture and contractor partners to design specific solutions for mfPHD clients.
Maria is a natural problem solver and will leverage her CAD experience to transform initial rough designs into working documents.
Her eye for detail will prove invaluable in coordinating design details with hospital staff and the design and construction team. Through her technical expertise, she will help to ensure document quality and participate in the design review process.
Maria began her career in the aerospace industry, working for L3 Technologies as a CAD designer generating design documents for aircraft modifications.
When she is not collaborating with project teams, Maria can’t be found. She will be traveling the world in search of the most beautiful beaches and the best scuba diving. Her “Best Of” scuba diving list includes Thailand, Cozumel, and the Cayman Islands.
